Iranian designer-artist Banafsheh Hemmati has been designing jewellery, furnishings, landscapes, lights and equipment for over 20 years.

• He began to design jewellery appropriate for the garments he designed for himself. “I could not discover jewellery that match them,” Hemmati says. “In the end, I designed the jewellery that fits them greatest.”
• Born in Tehran in 1974, Hemmati has a grasp’s diploma in industrial design. His ardour for philosophy later led to his doctorate within the philosophy of artwork. His doctoral thesis was concerning the philosophical foundations of the connection between artwork and geometry.
• He’s the founding father of Banafsheh Design Studio in Tehran.
